The term Green Canine refers to a canine which may have completed basic obedience training and can be observed and assessed for skills and capabilities necessary to perform as a detection dog. However, the canine has not yet completed specific detection training.
In our Green Canine program, canines are tested to meet the needs of agencies demanding operational requirements, whether in airports, rail systems, or large scale events. Canines are both bred in house and sourced from partners in the sporting dog community.
Our canines receive training that prepares them for a range of detection capabilities. Training that is designed to teach each canine to utilize their olfactory capabilities to its fullest potential. We identify our green canines as athletes and train accordingly.
