With over 28 years dedicated to training canines in narcotic and explosives detection, patrol, land and water cadaver recovery, aggression control, hunting, and tracking, as well as having trained and evaluated over 1,000 canine teams, Bobby Lane serves as the experienced and well-rounded owner of Person-Borne Detection K9, LLC. His background is founded largely in collaboration with government and law enforcement. On the governmental level, Lane acted as a canine advisor/trainer for the US and British militaries overseas in Afghanistan and worked as a contractor for the State Department in operations to protect a foreign president in office. Later, he developed the specialized canine program for said foreign presidential protective service. He has participated in Special Incident Response Team efforts as a member and lent his expertise to Criminal Enforcement activities as a supervisor. Lane boasts extensive engagement within one of the largest combat detection dog programs in US history. Prior to leading endeavors at Person-Borne Detection K9, LLC, Bobby Lane spent 9 years as Subject Matter Expert for a distinguished agency conducting research in Person-Borne Detection.
